Mobilicity, a wireless startup that has been active in Canada since May, has added province-wide long distance to its $35/month flat-rate talk-and-text service.

In a bid to lure frequent international callers to its service, Mobilicity is also offering a number of competitively priced long distance add-ons, including unlimited calling to a number of Asian and European destinations for an additional flat monthly fee.

“Canadians are craving more value in long-distance,” commented Mobilicity president and CEO Dave Dobbin. “We strive to deliver the best pay-per-use long distance rates in the industry to over 200 countries and unlimited long-distance offerings that our customers love. And while it’s not possible to provide unlimited long-distance everywhere, we have come up with ways to make calling to more countries more affordable.”
