Telus Mobility has followed the lead of Rogers and Bell, becoming the third Canadian carrier to offer Research In Motion’s BlackBerry Curve 9300 device.

The Curve 9300, or ‘Curve 3G’ as it is frequently called, features third-generation mobile broadband capability along with a 2.4-inch display, 2-megapixel digital camera, 32GB microSD card slot, and built-in Wi-Fi and GPS. Like previous Curve devices, it has a built-in QWERTY keyboard.

The BlackBerry Curve 3G is now available for $79.99 on a three-year Telus Mobility contract costing at least $50 per month.

Bell Mobility still offers the cheapest deal on the Curve 3G — $49.95 on a three-year contract. Without a service agreement, Telus is the cheapest at $329.99.

    1. Enough of 3G. When is 4G service and phones going to be available?

We need more competition in Canada. Telus, Bell, and Rogers have been protected far, far, too long and our overly high charges attest to that.
