Cable Television
- Cable television providers deliver numerous channels of video content to the homes of customers, using coaxial cables. Companies will generally offer a number of unique service packages, each of which includes its own mix of news, sports, entertainment, and informational content.
- Cable is the most popular way of watching television throughout most parts of North America, and many other regions of the world. It is currently offered by Comcast, Time Warner, and Cox Communications in the United States; and by Rogers and Shaw in Canada.
- Most cable companies now also offer broadband and digital telephone services over their coaxial networks. It is often possible to save money by bundling two or more services in a single account.
